1st Genre Photoshoot

My plans and goals for this photoshoot were to get good photos that I was happy with while exploring the genre of Architecture and Interior Design in photography. I wanted to see how well I could do in this genre for my first attempt to get a good idea of how my future photoshoots would work.

I really enjoy the composition of this picture and how it came out especially with the way that the sun is hitting against the building. I wish when I was taking the picture that I got the top of the tree in the top right as the top of the tree being cropped looks unprofessional.

For this picture I really enjoy how the pool ladder is the main focus of the image but the pool adds a nice contrast witha nice reflection in the pool. I also think the apartment building in the background gives a nice place for your eyes to rest and I added a filter to add to the atmosphere of the picture and bring it all together.

I really enjoy the composition of this photo as the hallway is in the middle with the light fixture centered as well and helps keep the balance between the things on the sides that compliment the image well.

For this picture I am really happy with how perfectly symmetrical it is and enjoy the color range in this picture as it is a small range of grays and blues. I also like the way the light shines against the center piece.

I am glad with how shooting from a lower angle added more perspective to the shot and how it turned out because of this. I also think that the colors in this picture are very unique compared to my other photos as it looks very monotone.

Although this picture may not have been taken to its full potential I really like the subject of the photo. I think these lamps look very intruging and enjoy how their stacked with different sizes.

I think I could improve on my lighting with some of the pictures and want to continue to discover places that I think would work great for future photoshoots as I am overall happy with the outcome of this one. Moving forward I would plan when I take my photos further in advance to ensure that everything is the right conditions such as sufficient sunlight and I'm looking forward my next photoshoot.
