Double-Page Spread: 1st Draft

These are my first 2 drafts for my Double Page Spread in which I followed the main conventions of animal magazines by including images of animals and nature that correlated with the subject matter as well as giving educational information.

I used Canva to make these drafts and decided to really experiment with my second attempt at making the double-page spread which I really enjoy. I am glad I decided to put more time and effort into it and it has inspired me to possibly make some changes to the rest of my magazine that fit in better with this theme. Although the layout is very similar I made a big change to the title, as I tried a very different style, and color theme as well as added more graphics to liven up the page. However, I still do enjoy the composition and look of the first title along with the image behind it.
