This post shows my final double-page spread and explains the process of its making.

The pictures included in this post were all taken on my phone at the Everglades and were simply the ones I liked the best and thought would fit in with what the article was discussing. I used Canva to compose the DPS and really struggled at first as I had no idea how to start from scratch so it took me a while to figure out how the composition should be specifically for the title but after doing more research on how other double-page spreads looked I was able to catch on. Once I came up with the basic composition by making a nice title design and writing out my article, as seen below, I was then able to focus more on the aesthetic features of the DPS and making it more visually appealing on my second attempt, also seen below. After that, there were a few changes made following my classmate's critiques.

Although I had a rocky start I think I did a good job of making the double-page spread and while there could still be some things to improve or expand on I am happy with what I was able to create.
