Masthead Design

In the post, I will be showing my final masthead design and the reasoning behind my decisions.

For my masthead, I choose to use a Gilbert Qualifi Demo Regular font as I enjoy its uniqueness and the life it brings to the cover. I decided on this placement of the masthead as I like how it is not symmetrical and adds character to the magazine cover. I also think that the fact that Crying is over Critters works well as it is a long title so it would look too uniform and tightly packed if it was in one long line.
